Boat Launches/Docks
County Park 4
Located in Spicer on Green Lake, across from Mel's Sport Shop
Get your bait at Mel's and launch the boat across the street.
You will find lots of places to park the trailer while you have
fun skiing, fishing or just enjoying the view.
North Shore Drive
Located on the north side of Green Lake, just beyond Ye Olde Mill
Inn.
City Dock
6 slips are waiting for you to stop, enjoy the downtown park and
tour the shops in Spicer. You can fish from there too! Don't forget
your bait.
Swimming Beaches
Saulsbury Beach - County Park 4, 151 Lake Ave N.
Located in Spicer on Green Lake, next to Melvin's on the Lake
and across from the American Legion
Saulsbury Beach is a very popular beach for all ages. A lifeguard
supervised swimming area with a deep end for diving will provide
many hours of splashing fun. Don't miss this beach, you are bound
to see someone you know there.
County Park 3
Located on Diamond Lake approximately 6 miles southeast of Spicer
off of County Road 4
Bike Trail around Green Lake
From Saulsbury beach, go north on Lake Avenue. Turn right on North
Shore Drive and continue on Indian Beach Road. Turn right onto
Lake Avenue South and finish back at Saulsbury beach. You have
just had a 12 mile ride of your life!
Glacial Lakes State Trail
This family friendly paved bike trail goes through Spicer and
continues north through New London and south to Willmar. The trail
traces the route of a former railway, so a smooth ride is assured.
The scenery is excellent and there are many opportunites to rest
in Spicer and New London. View a detailed Trail

BMX track
Like to race and jump your bike? Head on out past the baseball
diamonds in Spicer and test your skills. Racing often in the summer.

Green Lake Diamonds
Located across from the Green Lake mall in Spicer, all the facilities
are there for a good game of baseball or softball. Lots of parking
too!
Basketball Court
There are two basketball courts in Spicer. Play half court ball
at Saulsbury beach. Get some sun and sweat at the same time. If
full court is what you want, head on over to Beach Street, just
2 blocks southwest of Melvin's on the Lake. Don't forget to bring
your friends!
Tennis Court
From Melvin's on the Lake in Spicer, go south 1 block and turn
right. You will see the court on you left one block ahead.
Volleyball Court
Sand volleyball is lots of fun at Saulsbury beach in Spicer. Bring
your own ball and start a game. A crowd of fans is sure to gather.
Horseshoe Court
Grab your horseshoes and head on out to the Westside Park located
off 4th Avenue. Horseshoes is the only time that close enough
counts.
Beach Street Park - 103 Beach St.
This park has two tennis courts, a basketball court, picnic tables
and a playground system.
Wildcat Cove - 159 Lake Avenue N

Kandiyohi County Park #4 (Saulsbury Beach) - 151 Lake
Ave N.
Located next to a DNR boat launch, this park has many picnic tables
and a sheltered area. It's a great place to enjoy a fun day boating,
swimming, relaxing in the shaded park, playing sand volleyball
on one of the two courts or going one-on-one at the basketball
half court.
Westside Park - 325 N Fifth Ave.
This is a new park located by a newer housing development. It
has a mini shelter, picnic tables, horseshoe pits, and play equipment.
